City Montessori School (CMS) is a co-ed K-12 day school running in 18 campuses across the city of Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1959 by Drs Jagdish and Bharti Gandhi with the motto Jai Jagat (‘victory to the world’) based on the ancient wisdom of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (the whole earth is my family) and inspired by the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and social reformer Sant Vinobha Bhave. Jai Jagat has been the school’s greeting from the beginning.
The school is affiliated to the Delhi-based Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) which offers the ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) qualifications, and is also affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) UK, which offers the iGCSE (class 10) and A-Level (class 12) qualifications. Of the 18 campuses of CMS, five campuses go upto grade 8 and are recognized by the Basic Education Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Registration Process

School Visit at City Montessori School, Lucknow
Parents / Guardians are invited to visit the School campus to understand the culture and ethos of the Institution. A meeting can be scheduled with the Principal, so parents can have an interaction with the Head of the school, ask questions and collect any information they require.
Form Submission
The parent needs to fill up the admission form and ensure all documents are in order. Kindly intimate the school in case your child requires some special assistance due to any health reasons.
Classes & Fees Structure

City Montessori School Lucknow Transport
Due to the limited availability of school rickshaws, vans and buses guardians are requested to make their own arrangement for transportation.
If School Rickshaw, bus and bus facility is availed by guardians then it will be valid for the entire session i.e. from July 2022 to June 2023. In an extreme case, a guardian is allowed to discontinue the transport service however in this case he/she has to give an advance notice of one month and pay one month’s transport fee.
The school tries its best to offer satisfactory transport service however in case of delay due to mechanical breakdown guardians are required to make their own arrangements.
