NIFT
It was established in 1986, the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi (commonly known as NIFT Delhi) initially offered only one Design course from a temporary two-room set-up. In 1994, NIFT Delhi shifted to its permanent campus, which was designed by Dr BV Doshi. NIFT was set up in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and is a Statutory Institute Governed by the NIFT Act 2006.
Currently, it has 17 campuses spread across the country, namely NIFT Chennai, NIFT Bengaluru, NIFT Patna, NIFT Gandhinagar, NIFT Hyderabad and NIFT Kolkata, among others. Its campus is the largest campus among all the NIFTs, scattered in 3.52 acres which is equipped with all the basic and modern facilities. NIFT Delhi is ranked one for Fashion Design by the Week 2023 and Business Today 2023.

Admission
The Pearl Academy 2024 written exam for the cycle will be conducted on April 20-21, 2024; the mode of the exam will be offline. The Personal Interview will also be conducted on the same day. The online application form for Pearl Academy 2024 is now open. The last date to fill out the form is April 15, 2024.
